The Underwater World Captured

I am a senior studying Marine Biology at Ave Maria University in Florida. While there, I've taken advantage of many opportunities to do more with my field of study, including semesterly volunteer research, heading the University's Snorkel & Scuba club, and studying a variety of marine science topics in my free time.

My blog was inspired from that additional study and made to add purpose to the study!

Currently, I am an Advanced Open Water (2nd tier) PADI scuba diver, and I am pursuing continued certification that will take me to professional scuba instructor levels.

I plan to attend graduate school somewhere in the world's tropics and obtain a PhD in marine science, opening doors to conservation ecology or zoology in government, corporate, or other institutional sectors.
