My Mission
I am a Marine Biology major at Ave Maria University in Florida. I spend many spare hours outside of school researching and exploring our oceans as I pursue a future career as a scientist, conservationist, and professional scuba diver.
I made this blog to educate the public and inspire people to make a difference. I hope it will host an online community where everyone can learn about and help to conserve the beautiful world--both above and below the water--that we live in.
I aspire to capture the underwater world in media while I journey through a marine science career (hence my brand of UWWC, "The Underwater World Captured"). Done well, the pairing of science and media multiplies the impacts of private and public conservation efforts.
My mission isn't carried out alone. I must thank the many teachers, relatives, friends, and community members who have supported me--including you! I hope you'll be inspired here to participate more every day in the work that I live for--keeping the world happy and healthy for future generations to enjoy!
